GET YOUR HIGH HOLIDAY PRAYER BOOK
If you will be joining us in person, High Holy Day Prayer Books will be available to you in the sanctuary. If you will be joining us online, or in the sanctuary and prefer to have your own copy through the holy days, there are a few options listed below.
Please get your book early because as the Holy Days approach we will have less time to help you with technology or help facilitate getting you a hard copy. DON'T WAIT TILL THE LAST MINUTE.
Option 1: A hard copy to keep through the Holy Days.
We have a table with books in the Beth Israel Davis Social Hall, just outside the Synagogue Offices. There are also free calendars for 5782 courtesy of our friends at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home.
Simply stop by during our regular business hours (M-F 9:30 am - 2:30 pm).
Please use your key fob to let yourself in.
Please write a check for $40 made out to Beth Israel and write "holiday book" in the memo. This is a DEPOSIT only.
Take a book and drop your check in the basket on the table. We will not cash the checks, but simply hold them until after the Holy Days when you return your book.
If you are unable to come during these hours, or if you are unable to leave your home, please contact Linda in the office to make other arrangements.
Don't forget to grab your calendar.
Option 2: An electronic copy in e-reader format.
The Rabbinical Assembly is offering at a great discount an e-reader version that allows you to "flip pages" and shows the left and right/English and Hebrew pages side by side.
The cost is $5.99 and can be used across multiple platforms (phone, computer, iPad, etc)
As this format different from the standard PDF we've been using, I strongly recommend ordering early to familiarize yourself with the operation and allow time for any needed technical support.
If you purchased a copy this way last year, your link should still be valid. But PLEASE CHECK NOW to make sure.

Option 3: Purchase your own hard copy from the Rabbinical Assembly.
You may order your own hard copy from The Rabbinical Assembly. They recommend ordering by August 24 to ensure delivery in time for the Holy Days.
