Kabbalat Shabbat - Fridays at 6:45 pm

Shabbat Morning - Saturdays at 10:00 am

Updated 4-12-22:

The COVID pandemic has been a challenge amongst our community, places we work, family, and friends.  The CBI Board Opening Committee meets regularly to advise the board in the protection guidelines for our congregants and visitors to CBI to the best of our ability.  Our guidelines therefore periodically change based on prevalence of the virus in our community, information on variants, and the current CDC guidelines.  Based on the current COVID situation in our area and nationally, the CBI Board has adjusted the COVID protocols as follows starting April 12, 2022:

  • Masking is OPTIONAL for all depending upon one owns preference,

  • CBI will maintain PEW separation ‘as-is’ until the next COVID appraisal,

  • Social distancing is still requested and expected to be respected within pew rows based upon the groups those which to sit with,

  • It is requested to ALL congregants to stay up to date with your COVID vaccinations and follow appropriate CDC guidance if you have symptoms or known contact with a COVID positive person.

  • On Friday night and Saturday, food will be allowed:

    • For now, food will be limited to one or a few items (e.g. cookies, fruit) with coffee and other drinks. This will minimize kitchen support and make it easier for social distancing while maintaining the ability to socially network after services.

  • Pesach first night service/dinner is being planned to be in the Social Hall. The attendance will be as follows:

  • Congregants reserving attendance within the reservation window take first priority.

  • Attendance will be limited to approximately 72 (based using our current tables and 6 per table).

  • Outside (guests, students, etc.) attendees can fill any spots not reserved by a congregant or congregant family.

School Guidelines:

  • Masking is still required all the time while indoors for students and teacher

  • Religious school will still follow the Greenville County Public School vaccination requirements

Services times are:

Friday Evening 6:45

Saturday Morning 10:00 am.
