We continue to hold services in the sanctuary, and regularly reexamine our policies to reflect CDC and SCDHEC recommendations, and the best advice of our local medical professionals.  We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.

New Covid Guidelines, Effective November 19, 2021.

For Services:

  • Attendees age 5 and over MUST be vaccinated or have recovered from COVID.

  • The Pew seating will have extra spacing and alternate rows, with at least eight (8) feet between groups (family, friends, or both)

  • Masking is strongly encouraged but not mandatory.  Those who prefer to no wear masks will be asked to sit on the right side of the house, the side closer to the stained glass windows.

ONEG / Kiddush; will be starting December 3:

  • Simple snacks only.

  • All people MUST wear masks when they get their food.

  • Use of food service gloves to self serve.

  • Suggest personal awareness and masking when not eating food and socializing

School Guidelines:

  • Masking is still required all the time while indoors for students and teacher

  • Religious school will still follow the Greenville County Public School vaccination requirements

Shabbat services are Friday evenings at 6:45 followed by an oneg, and Saturday mornings at 10 a.m.

 

We use the Siddur Lev Shalem and pride ourselves on egalitarianism in language and participation.  All are equal in the eyes of our Creator, and all are welcome to participate at whatever level they feel comfortable.

 

Our teachings are a mixture of sermons and interactive text study, and questions, comments and personal insights are always welcome!!!

 

Dress is generally smart casual. Come as you are. 

We also hold a semi-monthly Instrumental Kabbalat Shabbat with a vegetarian/dairy pot luck dinner.
