Congregation Beth Israel Sisterhood has long played a vital role in the life of the Congregation Beth Israel community. Our mission is “to promote the religious and cultural aspects of Jewish living for our synagogue’s women and youth.” Thanks to member dues and fundraising efforts, we are able to sponsor and/or assist many programs at Congregational Beth Israel and in the local Jewish community, including:

• Financial assistance to our Religious School

• Maintenance and upkeep of the kitchen

• Yom Kippur Break-the-Fast

• Sisterhood Shabbat

• Various Fundraising events

• Programs for our members

 
Sisterhood is continually looking for ways to engage women in all stages of their lives. We bring together women of all ages to share in fun, interactive, and spiritually inspired events. Through Sisterhood, we hope you will continue to grow in leadership roles and in your understanding and enjoyment of Judaism. Our Sisterhood is affiliated with Women’s League for Conservative Judaism and supports Torah Fund.
